On the midterms: Vance says the idea that Republicans will be crushed in the midterms is "preposterous." Points to how Republicans did in 2018, saying margins narrowed closer to the election. "It's cynical, pessimistic garbage pushed by people who want us to completely give up. Don't give up."
Vance tells another student he loves the idea of “term limits for bureaucrats” asked about term limits for Congress.
On Epstein: Vance says Epstein ( a “scumbag”) had many connections with powerful people, says he himself is probably more obsessed with Epstein than most people, specifically remarks on one email he saw that was reminiscent of Pizza Gate. He defends Trump’s rhetoric on Epstein and points out that the president reported Epstein to the police and that Epstein hated Trump.
This is the second TPUSA college event he has spoken at since Charlie Kirk was killed. He spoke at Ole Miss in October 2025.
Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones spoke before him and celebrated new Georgia legislation, the TPUSA Act, which is intended to ensure that students’ First Amendment rights to gather and speak are protected regardless of religious or political views.

White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - VP Pool #5: Return to DC
The vice president landed back at JBA at 8:32pm ET after an uneventful flight. He did not take questions from the press before or after the flight from Georgia to DC and was his way back to the vice president’s residence by 8:45.
One note - it was the VP’s second son, Vivek, who was baptized on Easter Sunday.
