>>181190U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement @ICEgov - Video: LATEST CONSPIRATOR SENTENCED IN 13-YEAR ICE HSI ILLICIT SOFTWARE PROBE
A Florida woman got 22 months in prison and a $50,000 fine March 2 for trafficking illicit certificate of authenticity labels that bear Microsoft software activation codes.
Heidi Richards was sentenced in a 13-year, nationwide ICE @HSIKansasCity-led probe into a trafficking network that collectively harvested and resold at a discount over 600,000 illicit key codes worth over $900 million.
The labels and codes made counterfeit software appear legitimate.
The investigation so far includes $20.6 million in seized assets, as well as arrests, indictments and convictions of nine major distributors. DOJ calls this the largest software prosecution in its history.

https://x.com/USMC/status/2044838233582776760U.S. Marines @USMC - Last week the USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26), an amphibious transport dock ship, served as the primary recovery vessel for the crew of NASAArtemis on April 10, 2026. Amphibious warfare ships like the John P. Murtha are exceptionally versatile and possess unique partially submergible well decks which can be lowered into the water and allow equipment like the Orion capsule to be floated directly into the ship.
The USNavy and #MarineCorps amphibious warfare ships offer other capabilities which NASA was able to utilize for recovery operations such as a helicopter launch point, onboard medical facilities, and an extensive array of sensors and communication suites.
The John P. Murtha allowed for the quick ability to recover the four astronauts, the Orion space capsule, and collect critical data. The ship also provided the necessary capabilities to allow NASA's Landing and Recovery team to have real-time communication with the Flight Control Team in Texas and the rest of the Exploration Ground Systems team at NASAKennedy.
