Cynical Publius @CynicalPublius - Shame on me for not knowing that there is a movement called "Modern Stoicism."
Apparently there are a bazillion books, websites, articles etc. on the subject.
So I did some research.
Near as I can tell, Modern Stoicism consists of learning to worry about the things you can control and not worry about the things you cannot control.
To me, this is basic common sense and it's unclear to me how an entire industry could spring up around such an easily understandable and fundamental life concept.
