Questions are ongoing. Some updates:
On what Iran needs to do to violate the ceasefire:
“You’ll find out because I’ll let you know. They know what to do. They know what not to do.”
He declined to say whether he would arm Iranians.
On what he hopes to achieve with Xi on Iran:
He said they will talk about it and he has been “very nice” and “respectful.” And that the US has not been challenged by China.
He made an offer to china to send their oil ships to the US like Alaska or Texas.
On Iran making a deal:
The president said he is frustrated by how Iran speaks to him with “respect” in private but then goes on Tv and says they didn’t speak to the president.
On the filibuster:
The president said he’s disappointed in Leader Thune for not eliminating the filibuster but said he likes him a lot.
“There's a couple of Republicans that are foolish people. A couple of them are alike.”
