*Flash flood warnings remain in effect along the U.S. 80 corridor all the way from York and Livingston Demopolis to Selma to Montgomery, and over to parts of Macon and Russell counties. Some spots have received over 4 inches of rain.
*The risk of severe storms is over for most of Alabama. The exception is the southwest part of the state. One strong storm is over southern Clarke and southern Monroe counties, but it has been slowly weakening and there is no evidence of large hail or damaging wind as of 9:45.
*The last storm to watch is the one near Laurel, MS. This storm produced a large tornado earlier tonight near Brookhaven, MS… but thankfully it is slowly weakening. If it holds together, it will move into southern Choctaw or northern Washington County Alabama. We will keep an eye on it.
