After our exclusive investigation revealed two former DEA agents and their network of Venezuelan sources are coming forward to claim the $50m reward for the capture of Nicolas Maduro, we developed new reporting that the DEA administrator was allegedly taking credit for running their sources and making the case.
Neither the DEA press office nor @DEAHQ Administrator Cole responded to our multiple requests for comment. The DOJ which has oversight of DEA declined to comment.

We have others that are living and they need their help. And in my view, it's the US government's obligation to evaluate what percentage they would assign of the monies that are offered in this Rewards for Justice program and do what's right.”
