Vice President JD Vance walked onto the stage at Milbank Manufacturing Company at 12:52p local.
"It's great to be here in Kansas City," Vance said. "We love our American workers." The VP went on to give shout outs to some of the elected officials in attendance and thanked Missouri's Republican leaders for redrawing the state's congressional map.
According to an official, approximately 300 people are on the factory floor to see the vice president. People holding "Made in America" signs are standing behind the VP.
During the pre-program, Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe, Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.), Rep. Mark Alford (R-Mo.) and Chairman Jason Smith (R-Mo.) praised the Trump administration and its efforts to bring back manufacturing jobs and restore American industry.
Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) was spotted in audience, h/t The Hill's Julia Manchester.

White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - VP Pool #2 - Arrival in Kansas City ✈️
At 11:04a local time the VP’s plane landed at a very windy Kansas City International Airport.
The VP stepped off Air Force 2 at 11:15a and was greeted by Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe. The two chatted for a few minutes on the tarmac before the VP departed in his SUV.
The VP will be splitting off from the pool and heading to an RNC fundraiser at a nearby location, according to the VP’s office, while the press pool heads on to Milbank Manufacturing.
