- he called the stars - yes, the balls of burning gas in space - his only true friends.
- he described Irish landlords as “vampiric Jews.”
- he believes in the bonkers World Ice Theory; which posits that most planetary bodies in the universe are covered in ice.
- he was a Francophile and even as a youth refused to speak English for long periods, but then turned around and deemed French culture and language as “negro degeneracy.”
- he fell in love with a German woman and went on to describe his love for Germany as a whole as romantic and sexual in nature.
- he worked as a stockbroker while publicly advocating against capitalism
- was a fanboy of Richard Wagner to the point where he wrote poems and songs dedicated to Wagner
- got obsessed with Hinduism and especially ideas of Aryanism and caste systems.
- lived in Vienna for several years but constantly complained about the number of Jews there
- went on a lecture and writing circuit telling the world that Germans were destined to rule them all.
- during the Great War he saw himself as a prophet on earth, a living god, superior to the Kaiser to whom he was employed
And today, in 1926, he is perhaps the most important spiritual mentor to Adolf Hitler.
