U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement @ICEgov - ICE Long Island Fugutive Operations arrested a child sex predator May 20 during a targeted immigration enforcement operation despite resistance from anti-ICE protestors who were blowing whistles, honking horns and filming officers.
🔎The target of the operation was Jose Wilson Fuentes-Saravia. Last year, a Suffolk County court convicted Fuentes of sexually abusing a child younger than 11. He was given a six-month sentence and then released on probation despite having a final order of removal on record since 2014.
🛑Anti-ICE protestors unknowingly support dangerous criminals like Fuentes every day by alerting them of ICE’s presence.
