Rep. Jeffries - Your uncle Professor Leonard Jeffries is a notorious antisemite. You invited him to speak at your campus knowing he was an antisemite. In response to concerns raised about his speech, you issued a statement saying his speech is “factual information, proven through scholarly documents and texts.”
What were you referring to? Do you still support your uncle’s antisemitic statements? Will you now denounce your uncle’s statements?
Rep. Jeffries, why did you lie when you claimed in an interview with Wall Street Journal during your first year in the House that you were unfamiliar with your uncle’s speeches?
You were familiar with them, in fact you hosted him and was at his speech at Binghamton where he spewed the same antisemitic garbage.
Rep. Jeffries, you compared Justice Clarence Thomas, General Colin Powell, and Shelby Steele to “House Negroes.”
That’s incredibly racist and ugly. Do you stand by those comments? Do retract those comments?
When are reporters going to press Hakeem Jeffries for his past antisemitic and racist statements and lying about it?
