For exceptionally meritorious achievement during the period 24 November through 5 December 1987, while serving with the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment – DELTA (Airborne). Operation POCKET PLANNER, Federal Penitentiary prison riot, Atlanta, Georgia, in support of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Served as a Breacher, for the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s assault teams.
Joint Service Achievement, First Oak Leaf Cluster – For exceptionally meritorious achievement for presenting the Special Operations Forces Strategic Potential briefing from 13 October 1992 through 29 April 1993, in support of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). General Carl W. Stiner, USSOCOM Commander, led the briefing that was given to the public throughout the United States. I gave the rescue force plan of Operation EAGLE CLAW, the 1980 Iran Hostage Rescue Mission. I traveled with 28 people from Special Operation around the country and we gave a presentation on USSOCOM's capabilities and operations. I was one of three who talked about the Iran Hostage Rescue.
