Mike Lee @BasedMikeLee - The United States unquestionably changed the course of humanity for the better. We’ve led the charge toward freedom and prosperity since July 4, 1776. Every country that has joined our cause has succeeded. Every country that has fought against us ultimately languishes. We are and have always been the top destination for seekers of liberty and truth. And that’s because we were founded on the idea of unalienable rights originating not from the government, not from the people, but from our Creator. So as long as this country holds to our founding principles, we will be anathema to any movement that asserts otherwise. One of our greatest successes has been our near eradication of Marxism worldwide. But we’ve let it fester. And it’s taking root at home. Marxism is fundamentally incompatible with the American Experiment. Rights are merely the product of economic systems used to oppress. The government is a means to an end of overthrowing the ruling class. There is no objective truth. And there is no God. On our 250th anniversary, we need to renew the principles of the Declaration. The independence we must declare this time is not from a distant Hanoverian king or an overreaching British Parliament, but from the modern tyrant: Marxism. https://x.com/BasedMikeLee/status/2073247537889181834
