Craig Caplan @CraigCaplan - House GOP leadership pulled VA benefits legislation with offsets prior to a scheduled final vote on the bill due to a lack of support from Republicans. A vote on a Democratic procedural motion to change the bill was held open for 25 minutes to convince enough Republicans to switch their Yes votes to No. The motion was defeated 210-211 and the final vote was postponed.
