Your pool arrived at Wheeler HS (home of the “Wheeler Wildcats”) in Roswell, GA at 1452 after a harrowing high-speed dash necessitated by the driver in the lead press van inadvertently taking half the motorcade on a wrong turn before racing to catch up with the “secure package” portion of the motorcade.
The motorcade route was well-guarded by all manner of state and local police and was lined with what largely appeared to be supporters of the president, though your pooler did see at least one person holding up a “No Kings” sign, plus one large group near the venue with signs referencing the Epstein scandal and some people waving Mexican flags.
We are set up in an area at the top of the stands in the school’s large gymnasium.
The usual Trump rally playlist is playing, the presidential seal is on the “Blue Goose” lectern flanked by signs reading “powering the American dream” on the metal barrier flanking the lectern.
There’s another large sign reading “Georgia Welcomes President Donald J Trump” stage left and an American flag stage right. There are bleachers with sign-holding supporters behind where POTUS will speak.
It’s essentially a Trump rally setup, though this is billed as an official White House event.
Pooler will send color but the event is being live streamed.
