U.S. Northern Command @USNorthernCmd - When the call comes, USNORTHCOM delivers
At the request of the National Interagency Fire Center (@NIFC_Fire), Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, @7thID, have arrived at the Inchelium Forward Operating Base to assist civilian firefighters in containing the Modrite fire in eastern Washington.
Under the oversight of U.S. Army Western Hemisphere Command (@USArmyWHC), U.S. Northern Command’s Joint Force Land Component Command, these certified wildland firefighting hand crews are working side-by-side with experienced civilian wildland fire crew bosses to protect lives, land, and critical infrastructure.
