The company is cutting retention from 30 days to seven and adding an “evidence mode” for active cases.
It will require all law-enforcement users to adopt audit tools that flag abnormal activity by year’s end.
Automatic lockouts will suspend access when suspicious use is detected.
Flock stressed that camera alerts are only leads and must be visually verified by officers before any stop.

The Epoch Times @EpochTimes - Staff at California women’s prisons sexually assaulted and harassed inmates for nearly 25 years while officials failed to stop it.
The Justice Department found an unbroken pattern of often violent misconduct by staff at the Central California Women’s Facility and the California Institution for Women from 2000 through the present.
Prisoners reported more than 375 allegations of staff sexual misconduct between early 2023 and mid-2025 alone.
One former officer was convicted in 2025 on 64 counts of sexual assault involving nine inmates. Officials had received information about some of those allegations as early as 2014 yet did not open an investigation until eight years later.
The DOJ says the failures violate inmates’ constitutional rights and that California has 49 days to fix the problems or face a federal lawsuit.
