But, what he banking on is that the next Democrat elected President will commute whatever sentence is imposed to a number of years that allows for release at some point in the future.
It also is likely to cut-off his New York State trial for murder -- under NY's double jeopardy law his attorneys will argue the state cannot proceed to trial after the feds have already convicted him on the same facts.
That means he'll never face trial for Murder.
