Senator Rand Paul @SenRandPaul - GREAT READ:
“…pathogens escape from laboratories more often than you might think…”
If my Risky Research Review Act passes, it would establish a first-of-its-kind board to shift funding safety evaluations away from government entities like the NIH and instead involve non-governmental scientists, biosafety experts, and national security specialists appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate.
It would also ban federal agencies from disbursing grants or funding for classified high-risk projects without a majority approval and binding decision from the board.
Good work by @Ayjchan

Senator Ron Johnson @SenRonJohnson - Once you’ve read her X thread, I encourage everyone to read this excellent Substack by @MaryanneDemasi.
Quoted Post:
Maryanne Demasi, PhD @MaryanneDemasi - “They lied through their teeth” says US Senator
They claimed the US had the world’s best vaccine safety surveillance. But behind closed doors, the Acting FDA Commissioner warned Fauci it could miss the very injuries patients were reporting.
