U.S. Department of Labor @USDOL - ICYMI: @Sonderling47 tours Southern New Mexico farms to promote agriculture jobs
"We're working with local workforce boards and the education system locally to say, 'hey, look at these jobs here in southern New Mexico that are high-paying, that there's demand, that people want products from New Mexico, especially in agriculture, dairy, chili — of course — peppers. And how we inspire the next generation of workers.” — @Sonderling47

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service @USFWS - The Fish and Wildlife Service thanks the more than 200,000 commenters who responded to the request for information on the process for calculating setbacks for the drain tiles around the wetland easements. Our administration is dedicated to protecting both the wetland easements purchased by the FWS that are necessary to protect our conservation heritage as well as the private landowners’ use of their lands outside the easement boundaries. At this time, no further action is planned as we review the information received.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement @ICEgov - U.S. SEEKS TO STRIP CITIZENSHIP OF DOMESTIC ABUSER
Thanks to an ICE Operation False Haven investigation, the Department of Justice has filed a case seeking to denaturalize Emigdio Sanchez.
Sanchez was arrested after he beat and choked his wife so badly that she was hospitalized. He later lied about it to immigration authorities when applying for citizenship.
Eventually, he pleaded guilty to aggravated battery for beating his wife, but not until after he was granted citizenship.
Court documents state that the violent assault made him ineligible to naturalize and he obtained his citizenship by concealing his crime.
