The Forgotten South @forgotten_south - I stumbled upon this old farmhouse on the back roads of Wilkes County, Georgia. Property records list that it was built c. 1879, but I have a hunch that an older section of the house is enclosed within this bigger footprint, which was common during this era. I found a photo of it from the 1990s when the house was still lived in, but I almost didn't recognize it as the much sadder version that stands there today.
