Matt DeGalan, co-founder of the Democrats’ massive fundraising platform, sat for a closed-door deposition today and refused to answer a single question about foreign donations.
Fox asked him on camera:
“Does ActBlue accept foreign money?”
“How do you verify donors?”
“Is it secure for the midterms?”
Response: “No comment.”
He’s not alone. At least five current and former ActBlue employees have now invoked the Fifth more than 140 times combined — including the CEO, who took it over 20 times in June.
Republicans are investigating whether illegal foreign money is flowing through ActBlue into Democratic campaigns.
