U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement @ICEgov - THE U.S. IS NO SAFE HAVEN FOR ALIEN FUGITIVES.
ICE Boston arrested Maycon Souto Dos Reis, a Brazilian fugitive convicted of AGGRAVATED MURDER and sentenced to more than 14 years in prison in his home nation.
He fled to the United States and evaded justice for more than two years.
ICE arrested him during a targeted operation at a courthouse in Westborough.
Read more about his arrest and U.S. criminal history in our newsroom.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement @ICEgov - Cruz Antonio Tista, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, was arrested for allegedly raping a woman. ICE lodged an immigration detainer against him with the jail in Broward County, Fla., to protect the community.
ICE already deported Tista once, after he was convicted of illegal weapons possession in 2009.
He snuck back into the country a few years later and landed himself back in jail. Unfortunately, local officials released him from jail in 2015 instead of handing him over to ICE even though he had a final order of removal.
He managed to hide in the United States until his arrest this month.
We’ll remove him again after he faces justice in Broward County. Learn more about detainers on our website.
