Homeland Security Investigations @HSI_HQ - Chinese national Yupeng Sun was charged this week in Massachusetts for allegedly impersonating another Chinese national and voting in the 2024 presidential election under the victim’s name.
He’s also accused of causing the same Chinese national and his wife (another Chinese national) to be erroneously placed in removal proceedings by submitting fraudulent forms to USCIS in April 2024 requesting to abandon their LPR status.
Unbelievably, Sun allegedly sent letters to HSI and @USCIS after fraudulently voting that ACCUSED HIS VICTIMS of illegal voting in this ongoing @HSINewEngland case.
If convicted, Sun faces up to 10 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a fine of $250,000 for fraudulent voter registration and fraudulent voting.
