Video: NEW: Federal agents have arrested a Honduran migrant in LA for allegedly registering to vote and falsely claiming to be a U.S. citizen.
Authorities say Darwin Jonathan Rivera Flores is legally in the country, but is not a citizen and therefore cannot legally vote in federal elections.
Investigators allege that his voter registration and references to the upcoming midterms suggest he intended to cast a ballot in November.
Rivera has been charged with two felonies and faces deportation if convicted.
