Craig Caplan @CraigCaplan - House today unanimously passed the Hershel "Woody" Williams National Medal of Honor Monument Location Act, honoring the last surviving Medal of Honor recipient from WWII who died in 2022 by authorizing a monument to be built near the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall to honor the "extraordinary acts of valor, selfless service, and sacrifice displayed by Medal of Honor recipients." The bill, which passed the Senate also by voice vote in March, now heads to President Trump to be signed into law.
