Next time you think healthcare is ever “free”, realize that it is, in fact, not free when you are paying with your life.
Most of my life I grew up in a country with socialized healthcare.
To get a family doctor you literally have to know someone in the hospital to hopefully get you in and get you a prescription or a visit.
People wait months for needed surgeries just like this woman. And for specialists the wait is even longer, very often waiting years.
And not only do you pay crazy amounts for taxes so that the state can give out “free”healthcare, most people where I grew up, also end up paying for private insurance simply because we cannot get anything done in the public healthcare system.
Nothing is for free, and people’s lives deserve far more than falling victim to stupid bureaucracy and government inefficiency
