F.A. United States Attorney Bill Essayli @USAttyEssayli - Law enforcement can remove the drug dealers and gang members who were terrorizing the park and community. We’ve done that and will continue to do so.
What you’re seeing now is the failed “harm reduction” policy of handing out needles and financial subsidies. It enables addiction and leads to overdose deaths.
The city and county must reverse their misguided “housing first” agenda and focus on treatment first. These people need rehab, not a condo. Other cities like Santa Ana have done it successfully, and Los Angeles can too if it decides to.

Spencer Pratt @spencerpratt - Told ya. The zombie apocalypse floods right back into MacArthur Park the moment all these guys pack up their photo op and take their armed security with them. Spare us the photo ops. Until you’ll let your own kid walk through the park unattended, no more of this “Mission Accomplished” bullshit. We are sick of this Potemkin village crap, we want a REAL village thats safe for our wives and kids.
