Jonathan Turley @JonathanTurley - …Reddington insisted that this is not a time for gloating” and then declared how he “crushed” the District Attorney …
Parent Post:
Jonathan Turley @JonathanTurley - Reddington’s attack on the holdout juror in front of the courthouse was, in my view, an outrageous and reckless moment. It would warrant a response from the judge about stoking the rage against this one juror.

Jonathan Turley @JonathanTurley - The appellate filing is, in my view, manifestly invalid and gratuitously insulting: "A mistrial at this point is entirely avoidable, but only if the court does its
job."

Jonathan Turley @JonathanTurley - ...Reddington adds: "The judge appears to be abdicating the responsibility to weight the evidence of juror malfeasance." That is perfectly bizarre given Sullivan's overly solicitous and civil approach to the defense. Sullivan has taken great care to question the jurors, instruct on the standards, and seek a resolution.

Jonathan Turley @JonathanTurley - Judge Sullivan is absolutely correct in dismissing the defense motions on the holdout juror. There are no grounds to swap out the juror for an alternative. Sullivan pushed back on suggestions that he was somehow soft this morning: “What do you want me to do? Get a brass band?”
