🚨“Doubt” ≠ “Reasonable Doubt”🚨
Decades before Bud Light destroyed itself in an act of slow-motion self-immolation, it ran ads in which people said “gimme a light” and immediately received a blowtorch, a tiki torch, or a flaming arrow—anything but beer—until they specified “Bud Light.”
We need a similar ad campaign to help U.S. citizens (as potential jurors) understand that “doubt” is not the same as “reasonable doubt.”
There is a difference.
It matters.
A lot.
