You had elections coming up in Quebec and Ontario - Alberta, excuse me - and there were nationalist movements.
In Alberta, they were sick and tired of supplying the energy for Canada, and they couldn't export it on pipelines because your environmental regulations in these various provinces would not allow them to go into their province.
And you didn't tell the Canadians that only the Americans allowed you to build a pipeline into our foreign country, and your own country wouldn't let you go anywhere else.
If you want to go build a pipeline to British Columbia, go ahead and do it.
We're the biggest producer of oil and gas in the world.
We'll be fine.
And then try to export it, but you don't do that, do you?
