DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican - Tariffs have always been more about ideology than about economics. The arguments dating to 17th century have all been about tariffs preventing a true global order of peace & prosperity.
I've never read a convincing argument that tariffs are inherently more harmful than income taxes.
