Sadly, as of now, one person has been reported killed and six people injured, including three children. This afternoon, the Russians also struck a medical facility in the center of the capital. First responders are now working to put out the fire as quickly as possible.
Every Russian act of terror results in casualties that could have been prevented if pressure on Russia had finally become total. Pressure on everything that finances and produces Russia’s weapons of terror, and on everyone who uses them. The world must understand that terrorists will keep going if they are not stopped here, in Ukraine. And such brutal strikes must not be ignored. There must be a response – with global resolve and strength. We are counting on the strength of Europe, America, and our other partners who can help protect lives.

A rescue operation is underway: crews are putting out the fire and searching for people who may have been trapped inside. All services are deployed. Today in Kyiv, a pharmaceutical company and gas stations were also attacked; in Dnipro, a business center; and in other cities and regions, civilian facilities, businesses, and communications infrastructure were targeted as well. Sadly, people have been killed… My condolences to their families and loved ones. Russia will definitely face a response to this. And every one of Ukraine’s partners must see from this terror, from these strikes, that supporting Ukraine means truly supporting people’s lives – supporting the principle that terror must never be normalized, anywhere. Russia must be held accountable for all of this and face real consequences. I thank everyone who helps Ukraine!

Last night, our sanctions were used against two defense plants in the Tula and Voronezh regions. Over the past 24 hours, SSU units also carried out effective operations against the aggressor’s oil facilities in the Krasnodar region.
Sanctions were also launched against facilities that the Russians use for drone terror against Ukraine in the Kaluga and Oryol regions. In the Bryansk region, our forces worked directly against the occupying contingent. A target was also hit in the Black Sea.
I am grateful to everyone who is taking the war back to where it came from. Russia must stop escalating.
