Perhaps a trend is being established. Parent Post: CA ET Nerd @earlyvotedata Pennsylvania Absentee Mail Update 9/29: Rs have had positive movement with their returns, gaining a 3.68% share from yesterday. They are starting way behind (due to Philadelphia sending ballots out early) and so this increase is expected to happen. If it stalls, then that is a concern for Rs. With overall requests, basically a stable situation with Ds maintaining 66-24% lead over Rs. It looks similar to 2022 than 2024 so far. https://x.com/DataRepublican/status/2104977305848467900
DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican - Vibe-analysis of PA mail-in requests. Big blue shift relative to 2024, big red shift relative to 2022. Shifts in both maps are dominated by rural white voters. When enough returns come in, I'll bring the PA map back online. @ScottPresler https://x.com/DataRepublican/status/2104984896095785371
DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican - Colleges hamstrung themselves by accepting massive Inflation Reduction Act + CHIPS dollars. This forced them to invest in labs, programs, etc which massively increased their overhead even as student enrollment dropped. Monkey's Paw windfall. Parent Post: Chris @chriswithans Private college tuition should not cost $70,000 a year. It shouldn't even cost $50,000 a year. And neither should out-of-state public school tuition. There's no reason for that. These are non-profits. They get some federal funding and a huge benefit of the 501(c)3 tax deduction.
