Almost recruited to the VRC many years ago. Then went down to CSIS to meet with Chinese delegation – Liu Fandong – Vice Premier of China; Li Bin – Minister of National Health and Family Planning; Dr Cao – Director of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS). Present was Sec. Price and a group of Chinese and USA interested parties. I gave brief description of activities of NIH in collaboration with Chinese.
Sept. 29, 2017 – Secretary Price forced to resign as HHS Secertary related to scandal regarding his use of private jets to travel when commercial jets were easily available. Egregious example was a $25,000 flight the Philadelphia when a commercial flight left within 2 minutes of his private flight. Also, AMTRAK cost would have been $72.00. Too bad.
