Doug TenNapel @DougTenNapel - You may not know what I like about the story telling medium in the first place so there is definitely a way this can look good to me.
You also went straight to visuals, I think that's only one part of story and before film or with literature, your mind might fill the room with a lot more clutter.
Continuity issues are part of Ai story telling today just like how film speed was erratic in silent movies.
I'm not the art director so I'm not endorsing the design choices, or even the content. Only that I know mass media audiences and this is well within what people watch.
Ai did not create the audience that flocks to watch it, that stampede isn't running toward Ai, it was first made to run away from Hollywood.

Doug no way this looks good to you. Every shot is as cluttered as possible, there is constant continuity issues with cuts, the cinematography is hideous HDR even though it could have looked any way imaginable, designs are all over the place fillee with random noise

Doug TenNapel @DougTenNapel - It's not the manpower, but it is the amount of compute. The "virtual manpower" is coming and this movie is super early so they had to make an anthology, each individual segment still punching way above a tiny team's weight.
The lack of compelling 30 minute short films is the MOST encouraging thing for creators because it means we're still so early that we bought a little more time before the flood.
Free distribution platforms like X and Youtube will be first. In the long run theater distribution will need Ai more than Ai needs theaters. It's why we see Fathom Events renting out theaters on a slow Tuesday night... they need more content.

Dubes @dubes
AI movies are not attracting enough money and manpower to make a feature film yet. This looks like an anthology. Where are the compelling 30-minute short films on Netflix? My concern is that if AI was 'ready' enough (to attract the required people) then TV would come first.
