Marine One touched down at 11:37; the president stepped off at 11:40. He waved twice to the pool before pausing to field a question about hurricane preparations.
"We're watching it very closely, the hurricane," he said, adding that it was "under control."
He entered the White House at 11:41.
A lid was declared at 11:45.

President Trump disembarked AF1 at 11:20 pm and entered Marine One at 11:21 pm.
Trump waved to the press but did not gaggle.
Marine One lifted off at 11:27 pm.
