There was a short briefing room sighting of former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. Now 60, Tyson was the undisputed champion from 1987 to 1990. A native of Fort Greene, NY, he said he is accompanying the president to tonight's rally in Syracuse, about 300 miles from his birthplace.
Asked if he thought Republicans would win the midterms, he responded, "I think Donald Trump will win."

VP Vance spent a good ten minutes working the rope line, shaking hands and patting backs as country music blared.
He then left the hangar and spent another ten minutes on the tarmac in the sun, talking to what appeared to be a group of local officials.
He then boarded Af2.
One final line from the speech, by the way, appeared to reference attack ads against Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton: “Now I did promise Amy that I would meet her at a bar later. I understand that she's into that sort of thing. Let's try to get to know her a little bit better.”
