Support roles are important. The US calls it "combined arms", basically using all of your assets together to support and complement each other. idk how that applies to BF4 but it sounds good doesn't it? Keep in mind I was never particularly good when I played BF a long ass time ago, but I did try to play my role instead of just running at the enemy to shoot them.
