I can't think of any game industry celebs that I follow or ever followed in the past (in the sense that I keep up with their projects and buy their finished games). I don't think vidya is any different from movies or books in that striking gold once means nothing and chances are it won't happen again. Most big names have been one hit wonders, it's just that those hits were so big that they carried their careers easily. Some have had 2 great ideas and a select few have had more than that, but most of them are just the Fable guy, the Wing Commander guy, the CS guy, the Ultima Online guy, etc. It's probably a better idea to just credit them for what they achieved rather than demand more from them
