I don't think any ideas like karma are even the tiniest bit true. I think literally every aspect of society, every concept beyond total and absolute "kill or be killed" brutality was made up in order to make the rich richer. They couldn't exist in a world without cops, laws, societal norms, etc. That's the SOLE reason any of that exists, because the strongest men put all those rules in place exclusively for THEIR OWN benefit. It's all about hierarchy and nothing else. At first they were the tallest men with the biggest shoulders, then they were the richest ones, but their effect on everyone else is always the same. It's dressed up in nice and romantic facades to seem like it's not, but it's all part of the world's innate visceral brutality all the same
