Communism is not the main plan, fundamental to their goals. It's a shit test, its "what if it sticks?" kind of deal.
While purging them is unlikely, if you just take it without a fight they don't really have a limit to how low you will get. If you let it, you will end up as a race of genetically modified half animal child sex slaves.

They won't fight you to death to that end either, if you stand up for yourself you can hold on to your decency, as long as you are not a threat to them.
