My mom had this extremely badly. She would not accept any kind of criticism whatsoever. She was also extremely ego driven and had mental problems
My sister also, whenever I say anything remotely critical about her she will have a mental breakdown and start crying and get emotional. I think my mom probably taught her that through her own behaviour
