Oftentimes, if you look at where these financial people are and where they go, they basically hop between governmental jobs and then back to coprorate jobs and then back to government. So I imagine they have their loopholes and make sure that there is no conflict of interest as you say
For example Ripple, the company behind XRP has dozens of people working for them that used to work for the FED or in high financial goverment jobs. like Rosie Rios; she was the 43rd Treasurer of the United States and now works for Ripple
