It's a fucking revolting feeling to not only be exposed to that kind of insanity at a young age but also to see it in the ONLY person who can take care of you while having no other adults around to protect you from them. No kid who had to protect his 80yo grandma from his knife wielding mother at the ripe old age of 14 is going to grow up into a healthy functional normal person.
