As for the movie, its cool but not the best of the bunch. Basically, the viewing order should be Resolution->The Endless->Rest.
And Resolution by itself is not genius, but The Endless is what really makes the thing work.
There's Something in the Dirt would be far less interesting if I had not seen The Endless first.
Synchronic can be seen by itself, is the most "normal" movie of the bunch, its only indirectly related to the others. Its more of a mainstream sci-fi thing like Matrix.
