Looks like this was the car. Some BOOMER converted the car to an automatic transmission, but left the non-functioning clutch petal in the car. I would guess that whoever was driving it got confused and started the car while it was in "drive". Boom Boom not properly wiring the neutral switch on the transmission could let that happen.
