Morning.

Disclosure was a bit unexpectedly NOT esoteric, its all about debuting to the masses the slow roll out of the latest "scientific religion" or sorts, derived from the UFO cults, specifically the Rosicrucianism with a deeper layer of Thelema.

It's focused on Christians as you would expect, literally a main character is a Nun and it has all sorts of in your face dialogue about the relation of the existence of aliens and religion. The characters are mere shells to proselytize, a lot of scenes don't sound like the characters speaking at all.

The main insight I got from the movie, which is not very obvious, is that the core intent is to get people to accept new technologies to come, by means of implying they may be alien and thus "divine". Tech like universal translation and mind linking.
