Compare with Drow/dark elves, also a female dominated group. They're a sub category of elves and have a wave which is similarly off center to the left (not being centered can lead to harmful effects), but they straightened it using formal magical systems so it works. The slaughter house wave is drow as a collective, they are able to re-center themselves when reaching a high population density.
