In 1995 when AI A Modern Approach was published, they had perfect understanding of all current theory and technology, maybe because the limits in memory size made it impossible to build bigger things than researchers of the time could mentally represent and maintain in their brains. Going by what I realized with the "lack of human memory size" manifested in modern humans' inability to understand what an adverb is, maybe that ability is just lost, and those who wrote these things 30 years ago are now senile and can't keep up either. Then zoomer appear with their phones and they struggle to even understand the file system, they aren't bothered by the fact that windows doesn't per default opens txt files in notepad either, because they never use notepad.
(Notepad is probably the one program I use the most, as soon as I need to remember anything or use an url for a few min later I put it in notepad, Idk how people use computers without notepad.)
