discord is a literal honeypot. even if you have a setup that somehow allows you to use discord anonymously you're basically entrapping the 99% of anons who don't. and discord have a history of (probably illegally) leaking private messages of people they don't like to people who aren't even law enforcement. I get some people feel they need to use it, but it's still immoral.
people shit on telegram all the time and I sympathize, but at least they have a far better track record than discord for protecting their users. People claim it's potentially a honeypot, but at least it's not a confirmed honeypot.
